I like sleeping in, waking up to the smell of coffee, the beach, the city, complex carbohydrates, headphones, vinyl records, making lists, old movies, staying up 'till 2am, the smell of new books, road trips, witty banter, scarves, subtitles, singing in the shower, tongue-in-cheek humor, laughing 'till I cry, and bunnies.
All photos are mine unless stated otherwise.

Going for my first run in almost a year, since I found out I was pregnant. Scared, excited, and feeling like a total dork. But I’ve decided I’m going to run the Condura marathon next year, after I’ve stopped breastfeeding. And if that goes well, I’d like to try the Dream Marathon and the CamSur one. After what I went through delivering my child, I feel like I can do anything.
Everlong
Foo Fighters
♬ And I wonder, when I sing along with you, if everything could ever feel this real forever, if anything could ever be this good again. ♬
Another from the running playlist. Yes, there’s a lot of Foo in it. Long day at work today. Can’t wait to run tomorrow.

On location. Day 1 of a 4-day shoot. First time to work with a magazine. Had a great time shooting a controlled environment for a change, and I’m ridiculously happy despite the fact that I got a mild case of heatstroke in the afternoon.
My knee is feeling much better. I’ll be running again later. I’ve missed it too much.
Alright
Supergrass
♬ We are young, we run green, keep our teeth nice and clean, see our friends, see the sights, feel alright. ♬
filmus-monochromus asked: Lisa! After the sh1t week you have just had I thought I would just say congratulations. Four weeks today no ciggies. Kudos!
Thanks, Andy! 30 DAYS TODAY! *Happy dance* Now bum me a cigarette so we can celebrate. Kidding. :D

frescophonics asked: I just wanna say hi. I found your blog and fell in love. We have similar taste in music. And your photos are gorgeous. Btw what directory are you under (to recommend)?
Hi back! Thanks for the kind words! You can recommend me for photography if you like. Or music, if you are so inclined, but I don’t think I’m on that directory.

take-a-uturn said: you somehow inspire me to stop. It’s been 2 weeks, hope i can make it. ;)
That makes me ridiculously happy. Thank you for letting me know. I’m sure you’ll make it! It gets easier, I promise.
[More Q&A under the cut]

I have a mild case of runner’s knee and I need to lay off it for a few days. I’m swimming in the meantime. These running shoes are ugly as hell but I’ve grown rather attached to them and miss them terribly.
On the upside, it’s been 27 days, 8 hours, and 47 minutes since my last cigarette. I miss smoking more than I know how to put into words, but I don’t need it anymore.
Generator
Foo Fighters
♬ I’m the generator, firing whenever you quit. Whatever it is, you go out and it’s on. Yeah, can’t you hear my motored heart? You’re the one that started it. ♬
One of the songs on my Run, Baby, Run playlist. I run a little harder every time this comes on. Lots of Foo Fighters, Panic! at the Disco, Prodigy, and Rage Against the Machine on the playlist. I need fast, pounding beats. Any artist/song suggestions?

Going through the list. Awesomeness. Thanks, guys!
![I’m making a list of things I want to do before my 29th 30th birthday. Topping the list is “Run a full marathon or die trying.”
[Three hours later: Had to stretch the timeline because 1) It occurred to me that I may actually die if I try to do it before I’m 29 as I have the lung capacity of a 2 year old, and 2) it’s nice having something to look forward to. What happens after I run my full marathon? I’m never running an ultramarathon — I love my kneecaps way too much. I’ll aim for a more reasonable 10K by my 29th birthday in June 2011. Here we go.]](http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_l7wysuR3ku1qzo7j0o1_500.jpg)
